The answers provided to the questions in this FAQ represent only my perspective on these subjects. They could be formulated differently by other practitioners.
If you have other questions about QHHT® and its practice, feel free to ask them through the contact form. If they might be of interest to others, I will add them to this page.
What kind of questions can I address ?
QHHT® sessions can have very diverse purposes. In the session, we can explore anything you may want to heal, better understand, or delve into.
Here are some examples – not exhaustive – of what we can address:
-
Your life journey, the Purpose of your Soul. In other words: “What am I doing here ? Why all this ?”
-
Work and career-related questions
-
Relationships: personal life, family, work, neighbours, etc.
-
Health-related questions – physical or mental. However, this excludes specific disorders such as schizophrenia, for which specialized support would be more appropriate. The goal is to move towards more clarity, not to add confusion.
-
Any type of excessive stress
-
Recurrent patterns of any kind. For example: “There are certain situations, certain scenarios that seem to come back again and again in my life, is there something to understand about them ?”
-
Connection to spiritual realms, our expanded consciousness, “guides,” our soul family. These are concepts that may seem somewhat esoteric if one is not interested in these questions. Nevertheless, it could concern everyone, even those who “don’t believe in it.”
-
Unanswered questions, strange or unexplained experiences. For example: “I saw this, but I could never explain why or what it was.” Or: “I had an unexplained loss of consciousness between such and such moment a few years ago, and I don’t know where I was.” Things like that.
-
Interest in more cosmic questions, about extraterrestrials, etc. One may not be interested in it at all, but people have questions, especially about experiences like: “I saw a UFO, and I could never get an explanation, etc…” These questions are perfectly legitimate.
-
Questions about spiritual, personal, or universal elevation
-
Questions about the root causes of any problem or discomfort
You can see how varied it can be. The topics can be very concrete and material, and sometimes less conventional. There is no need to rule out this or that in advance; there is no right or wrong question. We simply try to see what resonates most with you. To identify the points you want to explore more.
Here are some questions you can try to answer for yourself to guide you a bit. Some may not resonate with you at all:
-
Is there something you would like to change or improve in your life ? To what extent would you like your life to be different from what it is now ?
-
How is your health? Do you feel particularly stressed or anxious ?
-
Are you looping on certain subjects? Do you have repetitive thoughts during the day ? Do you tend to replay in your head arguments or conversations you may have had ?
-
Are there recurrent “patterns,” recurring “types of situations” in your life ? Or are there recurring “patterns” in your relationships with others that seem to come back again and again ?
-
Do you remember your dreams ? Are they pleasant or not ?
-
Are there aspirations, dreams, goals in your life that you have not yet achieved ?
-
Do you have a fulfilling direction in your life ? Or do you feel like you spend a lot of time trying to please others ? Do you primarily work towards the ideas or goals of other people ?
-
Do you have a lot of joy or passion in your life ? What brings you joy ? Or perhaps you lack joy ?
-
Do you enjoy your activities, or would you like to do something else ?
-
Do you need help making a decision ? For example: “Should I move”, “commit to this”, or something else ?
-
Do you have a specific interest or curiosity in any subject(s) in your life on which you would like more information ?
-
Are you looking to develop a particular talent or skill ?
This should raise some points. Nothing is set in stone; you can always think of something else before the session. This is meant to help you prepare a small list of questions you have. It is better to do it in writing; it helps you formulate your intention more precisely, what you want to explore in the session.
It’s unlikely that you have no questions… You may have one or two, or three, or many more. In the latter case, often, they overlap. It is better then to try to condense them into about ten points.
Does it work ? Does it work for me ?
Yes, insofar as I am willing. It’s a question that almost everyone asks, initially. The method is based on entirely natural mechanisms and processes. In fact, we all experience altered states of consciousness in our daily lives, often without realizing it. The technique helps you relax and enter a deep meditative state. In this state, you can access information that is often hidden from you in the “usual” waking state.
QHHT® already has a history. New practitioners are being trained in it, but the method itself, refined in its simplicity over several decades of practice by Dolores Cannon, is proven. It has been passed on as it is, first by her and now by her students. Thousands of cumulative experiences to date show that “it works.” It is always healthy and fun to want to experience it for oneself.
However, in this approach, it’s not about forcing your defense mechanisms. It is necessary that you are willing for it to work for you. This may sound surprising, but it’s not always the case. You don’t come to a QHHT® session to fight against an intrusive force. You come to find a guide who can help you freely and safely explore yourself in all aspects, for your greater good. It’s good to want, within the framework of a specific time and space, to offer yourself a moment of truth with and for yourself.
How does it work ?
The mechanisms are somewhat mysterious, and their explanation clearly escapes a strictly materialistic paradigm. It is not absolutely necessary to adhere to the underlying framework of thought to experience its benefits. What emerges from the tens of thousands of QHHT® sessions that have taken place to date tends to show that each of us has already lived a significant number of other lives. For convenience, we call them “past lives,” although it is sometimes challenging to connect them strictly to the past. This is not a proven fact, strictly scientifically speaking, but aligns with the spiritual heritage of many ancient traditions around the world.
It appears that some of these experiences may impact others, particularly our present life. This life may bear the traces of those experiences: memories, various imprints, patterns, and parallel or similar experiences.
It seems as if we are on Earth to understand and experience certain things. These things are perceived from a “self” as positive or negative, pleasant or unpleasant. Our understanding (or lack thereof) of what needs to be experienced and the nature of reality seems to impact our current life experience. It matters for our balance, spiritual life, and health.
At certain times in our lives, it may be beneficial to seek useful and appropriate information to help us move forward. To be more balanced, better informed, and healthier. These pieces of information can be found in our current life, indeed. They can also be in our past, sometimes inaccessible to memory. They can also be – which can be understandably surprising – in a possible future. But sometimes, they can be further away than expected. By that, I mean outside the scope, in life experiences that more conventional methods obviously cannot access.
However, the knowledge of this multitude of experiences, if it eludes our “little self,” our character in this life, is always accessible to the “Subconscious.” What Dolores Cannon, the originator of QHHT®, called this (or “SC”) in her time, is not external to us. It is more like a Self, with a capital “S,” of which we are a facet, a localized expression in space and time. This Self is omniscient and benevolent.
In fact, we are never separated from it, but we have lost the habit of consciously listening to it. We are fascinated by our focus and unconditional trust in our analytical mind, our “left brain.” This mind is very useful, to be sure, for many things, if only for functioning in our daily lives. Yet, while having an opinion on all our questions, it often leaves us with our problems.
QHHT® is a method aimed at giving us access to this knowledge, to this fundamental connection with the Subconscious. This is so that we can autonomously and freely live the best possible life in our current experience.
What will I see ?
Regarding the form of the experience: if some people have a facility for “visualizing” experiences, we can say it is not about hallucinations, 3D cinema. You probably won’t see images displayed behind your closed eyelids. This is certainly not a sign that the session is not going well. The experience is more subtle. It would be closer, if it had to be compared to something, to the substance of dreams and memories. But everyone has very personal feelings.
As for the content of the experience, it’s quite simple: we don’t know in advance. This is except possibly for those who have already explored some of their prominent past lives. To give an idea, it is possible to evoke the kind of experience one might have during a session. However, it will always be as an example; it is different and tailored each time.
We talk about “past lives,” but it’s for ease of language. Words must be used to say what can be said. These experiences seem to unfold or be unfolded somewhere in space-time. Sometimes, they seem to be clearly related to past history (historical events, setting, people’s clothing). They can just as easily evoke frameworks (technological or otherwise) that seem to belong to the future. It happens that they relate, in the client’s current life, to a period of their life that has not yet occurred. Finally, they can quite simply be sequences from the current life, from the recent or more distant past, which sometimes contain more than enough to examine.
Likewise, these explorations are not always from a body of the same gender and age. Nor are they systematically from a human perspective, or even from a body.
These remarks are therefore made only as examples. It is best to have no specific expectations because each time, the experience depends on the client’s unique needs. It is the SC that determines what is most relevant and useful.
It should also be noted that what is seen often comes with emotions and sensations. This is one of the reasons why QHHT® sessions are never done remotely. It is necessary to be able to manage, if necessary, these emotions, which can be very pleasant, but sometimes much less so, depending on what emerges.
What kind of answers can I expect ?
You can find guidance on your projects, explanations about your past, clarifications about the present, etc. The answers from the SC will depend entirely on what brings you to consider a session.
The contributions from the SC are not always solely intellectual. For example, understanding certain things could have beneficial effects, promoting better health and a life more aligned with your deep aspirations. You might be pleasantly surprised by what emerges.
Am I not going to be disturbed by what will emerge ?
You are possibly already as disturbed or conditioned by what does not emerge… It’s important to specify a peculiarity of the QHHT® framework: it’s not the practitioner who will, in a directive way, choose what to explore. It’s your Higher Self (which is none other than yourself, on a broader plane) that will determine what is appropriate to bring forth during the session at this stage of your life. This is based on the questions you have and what you are capable of digesting. You will only have access to constructive information that can be helpful to you. What’s amusing is that they are not always presented to you as you expect.
And if I can't manage to visualize ?
A QHHT® session does not require extraordinary abilities or predispositions as a seer, etc. It’s not an exam either. The experience can be more or less profound, but you can’t ‘fail.’
To give you an idea, here’s a little exercise: can you think about your loved ones? Think about their faces, their character traits, how you could describe them to someone who doesn’t know them? Could you do the same with the place where you live? Think about the color of the door, its material, the more or less easy feeling of turning the key in the lock? Imagine yourself pushing the door, entering your home, feeling its atmosphere? Recognize the furniture, imagine how, once again, you could describe it to someone? You can do it, right? Even when your loved ones, your home are not in front of you. Spontaneously, you can create a mental representation. Well, it’s just as easy as that.
Similarly, you may have, after reading a book, seen a movie adaptation. You may have been disappointed by it because it didn’t match the representation you had of the characters… That’s exactly it.
From time to time, you may tell your day to your loved ones. You yourself create a representation of things as you remember them. The person listening also creates a representation, adds images, details to what you’re telling. Similarly, when you listen to a story someone is telling you.
You see, it’s all quite simple. Moreover, what presents itself doesn’t always come in the form of images. It can be sensations, other impressions, feelings, emotions, etc…”
Is it suitable for everyone ?
Yes.
However, there are some understandable reservations:
-
For individuals with significant psychological disorders or mental health conditions. It is not about adding confusion to the confusion. Unless they have prior training in this regard, QHHT® practitioners are not mental health professionals. In such cases, it is advisable to first consult with specialists. It is also challenging to consider a session directly with someone suffering from degenerative disorders like Alzheimer’s.
-
For young individuals (minors). Perhaps it is good to wait until they have launched into life, gained some experience, and confronted current life situations before seeking information from beyond. Additionally, what emerges is not subject to conventional morality criteria. It could potentially surpass what the young individual has experienced so far in their current life.
For me, the comfort and protection of the client are essential. Therefore, we usually refrain from QHHT® experiences with these audiences.
To better engage in the experience, language barriers should also be considered.
Finally, the client should be able to hear the practitioner, so in case of hearing problems, the client should be appropriately equipped.
What are the specificities of QHHT® compared to other approaches ? What is the interest ?
QHHT® aims to connect, for the greater good of the client, with their Higher Consciousness. The method, proven and very respectful of free will, is neither directive nor intrusive. The actual experience takes place with the client lying down and eyes closed; it is not anesthesia. The practitioner guides the client through the experience by asking questions based on the client’s responses. The information obtained often comes from a field that extends beyond the limits of the client’s current life, allowing for a broader perspective on their situation. The involvement of the Higher Consciousness goes further, and other benefits, particularly in terms of health, can result from these sessions. You might be pleasantly surprised!
What QHHT® is not
In France, practitioners are encouraged to make a clear distinction between conventional medicine (allopathic) and other healing practices. For example, within a therapeutic framework, whether physical or mental, QHHT® is not primarily intended to replace medical treatment or supervision, regardless of the observed benefits associated with it. It may, if necessary, intervene as a complement to appropriate medical treatments prescribed by authorized healthcare professionals. While some QHHT® practitioners may also belong, due to their personal background, to medical professions, this is not the default case for all QHHT® practitioners. They are facilitators, guides, and cannot present themselves per se as doctors, psychiatrists, or psychologists.
QHHT®, while being part of an open-minded framework embracing the unexpected and the mysteries of the universe, is not a magical or esoteric practice of exorcism. It does not involve invocations or necromancy. It is not strictly a channeling practice and does not assume mediumistic or psychic abilities. While it considers the balance and harmony of our physical and subtle bodies, it has nothing to do with massage practices. There is no physical contact between the client and the practitioner. No dubious scientific apparatus is offered for sale.
The practitioner is not a guru and does not present themselves as a life coach.
Furthermore, QHHT® does not have the entertainment purpose that stage hypnosis seeks. We are interested in what happens inside, before what happens outside.
What is the duration of the sessions ? How many sessions ?
The sessions are long and include a discussion portion that is quite important. You are invited to share your story, talk about your experiences, and discuss what, in your opinion, has shaped you into the person you are on the day of the session. It’s an opportunity to address the questions that truly matter to you. This discussion often takes at least two hours.
Then comes the part where you are guided into a meditative state of relaxation. You peacefully enter a state in which you can gain a different perspective on your life experiences. This part generally lasts about two hours.
Finally, we calmly discuss what has emerged.
It is advisable to plan for at least 4 to 4.5 hours (often more) to fully and serenely enjoy the experience. While this may seem long in abstract, in the session, time often seems to pass much more quickly.
It is entirely possible to repeat the experience if both the client and the practitioner wish to do so. However, this is neither systematic nor obligatory. The lengthy session allows for the exploration of numerous questions at once, and the autonomy and freedom of the client are highly respected and encouraged.
Several hours is long. Can't I have express sessions that are cheaper ?
This is, in general, something to be defined between the client and the practitioner. Some practitioners may choose to offer shorter sessions, and sometimes even remotely. It is important to note that such sessions, while possibly interesting, cannot be presented as QHHT®. They no longer adhere to the principles or methods of QHHT®.
The sessions are long because it is important to take the time to get to know the person who comes to see you. To respectfully address their deep concerns. The discussion part is fundamental and not just a formality. The hypnotic meditative part is also quite long. It is the necessary time to make the most of the experience and to address a number of questions in a single session. This also minimizes the risk of dependence on the practitioner.
The fee takes into account the length of the sessions and the fees practiced in the geographic area concerned. It is set on a flat-rate basis, so as not to be concerned about the passing time. Indeed, it is not uncommon, depending on the clients’ needs, for the sessions to be even longer. I, like other practitioners, have spent up to 7 hours in a single consultation. It is often surprising to see how time flies, after all. Regarding the cost, it is also important to consider that QHHT® involves significant work by the practitioner during, certainly, but also before and after the session. The pricing reflects not only the time spent in the session but also the necessary preparation and integration.
What training do practitioners undergo ?
Practitioners undergo familiarization with the principles and an in-depth exploration of various scenarios and possible challenges through courses provided by the Quantum Healing Hypnosis Academy. These courses, offered in person or remotely, include assessments of acquired knowledge at the end of each level.
There are three levels in total, reflecting the breadth of the toolkit and the practitioner’s experience. While interesting outcomes may arise from the first sessions, the quality of guidance deepens with experience, aiming to maximize the benefits for those consulting during these special moments.
It is crucial to emphasize that throughout the entire process, it is indeed the Subconscious that leads the session. The practitioner, with the training in the technique, strives to be the best possible facilitator.
Significant importance is given to practical experience. It serves as the best means to expose future practitioners to the variety and richness of personal journeys and the resulting experiences. Before being recognized as a “practitioner,” trainees are required to conduct at least 25 complete sessions. Each of these sessions typically takes more than 4 hours from start to finish and involves different individuals. This practice also offers an opportunity to refine and adjust the session’s material conditions, assess the needs for setup, and appropriate recording equipment.
Engaging in QHHT® practice allows practitioners to continue learning with each session.
What is this 'SC' that is mentioned in QHHT® ?
The “SC” is, among QHHT® practitioners, the abbreviation for the “SubConscious.” What Dolores Cannon referred to as the Subconscious is not precisely the unconscious of psychologists and psychiatrists. The SC is not exactly Freud’s Id or Superego, nor Jung’s Collective Unconscious. It could be better described as an extremely vast field of consciousness, an intelligence not bound by time and space. A field of consciousness of which each of us is a temporary and localized expression in time and space. The Subconscious knows everything about us beyond the limitations of our memory and perceptions. It holds knowledge of everything that has happened to us, everything that concerns us. It is always present, and we are never separated from it. We have somehow forgotten it; we have unlearned how to “communicate” with it. QHHT® aims to help you remember this possibility.
Extraterrestrials, dragons, fairies, and all that, not really my thing...
It’s entirely respectable. The goal is not primarily to venture into exotic realms to encounter elves or Martians. Each session is unique. We start from your own experience, your life, and the points that interest you to bring something constructive to you.
A successful session doesn’t necessarily take you to medieval Patagonia, as a spirit on Sirius, or amid spaceships. There can be many things to observe with a different perspective in this very life, and that might be exactly what is best for you.
You are simply encouraged to adopt an open-minded perspective, to give yourself a moment of relaxation and letting go. Be curious about what may emerge when the left brain takes a break, and the right brain expresses itself more. It’s an opportunity that doesn’t come by so frequently in our daily lives.
The hundreds of feedback from practitioners and clients with diverse interests and backgrounds often turn out to be… surprising.
Debates around the work of Dolores Cannon and her fields of investigation
Dolores Cannon, in her work, extensively addressed many subjects that still invite discussion. It is good to recognize and allow the public the freedom to explore and form their own opinions on these fields of investigation, which sometimes touch the limits of our belief systems.
Dolores Cannon’s achievements and contributions in these areas have been significant, but it is conceivable that certain aspects, at the very least unconventional, may be subject to controversies or criticism.
There are, as one would expect, critics and skeptics who question Dolores Cannon’s working methods, especially regarding regression into past lives and research on extraterrestrial abductions—subjects that are atypical for many people. Some individuals still consider her work unscientific, but these critical views are often precisely that—views. They are not always devoid of biases. The practice of Dolores Cannon’s method quickly demonstrates that there is much more to it than mere speculations lacking credibility.
Certainly, New Age themes can be more or less appreciated depending on the audience. The subjects and elements developed in Dolores Cannon’s works are praised by some, deemed completely prohibitive by others. My position, unsurprisingly, falls somewhere in between, and I believe, in a just middle ground, allowing for a reasonable and necessary critical distance. Furthermore, I cannot identify with the conspiratorial positions that can easily feed on the sometimes unconventional ideas found in Dolores Cannon’s books.
Some of the ideas explored therein, particularly those related to extraterrestrial life and metaphysics, are speculative. They rely on testimonies gathered during hypnosis sessions. We are well aware that these elements do not, to this day, have solid, absolutely irrefutable scientific evidence that can convince the most skeptical. Nevertheless, there is none so deaf as those who will not hear.
The subjects of Dolores Cannon’s writings can also be considered esoteric. They willingly fall under the realms of spirituality and metaphysics. This may not be suitable for an audience that prefers more empirical and factual information, although QHHT® sessions can bring forth such information.
Dolores Cannon’s achievements are significant, while also being likely to provoke debates and divergent opinions. It is up to the public to form their own opinion.
Ultimately, what is most exciting about Dolores Cannon depends on individual interests and perspectives, beliefs, and motivations. Personally, like many others, I find Dolores Cannon’s work on past life regression and the exploration of the nature of the soul captivating. Her ideas about the nature of human consciousness, reincarnation, and spiritual evolution can resonate with many people seeking a better understanding of life’s meaning.
Dolores Cannon stood out for her open-mindedness and willingness to explore subjects considered controversial or esoteric. Her ability to address still unique topics, such as extraterrestrial abductions, attracted attention and even admiration from those sensitive to bold research and exploration. We must, of course, not underestimate the fundamental importance and rigor of methods in strict scientific research. However, these methods should focus on explaining what “exists” rather than predetermining what can or cannot exist.
Dolores Cannon’s creation of the Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT®) had a significant impact on the hypnosis therapy community. It opened new avenues for exploring the human psyche and healing, although it is important to note—especially in France—that the use of this method does not present itself as part of conventional medicine and cannot substitute for it.
Dolores Cannon’s curiosity about the unknown and her unbiased desire to better understand the mysteries of the universe have evidently been sources of inspiration for those interested in exploring the frontiers of knowledge. She undoubtedly reached a diverse audience due to the variety of themes she explored, contributing to maintaining interest in her work over the years and motivating new practitioners to preserve and transmit her legacy.
QHHT® - isn't it somewhat cult-like ?
No, it needs to be clarified. Anything that would imply a mechanism of control would be a clear deviation from the method. QHHT® has been developed with the idea of strengthening the conscious connection between an individual and their SC. The goal is to enable each person to grow, enhance their autonomy, through a free exploration conducted in a safe and highly respectful framework of free will.
And about you, by the way ? Have you had a session for yourself ?
Well, yes.
I didn’t have a session for myself initially, nor did I start QHHT® for that. I was initially interested in the philosophical and existential implications of the possibility of exploring past lives. Also, I didn’t want to project my expectations and feelings onto the people who would come to see me, as each session is different. I thought I would be more neutral and impartial, avoiding the risk of influencing clients’ experiences during the session.
However, I quickly convinced myself of the profound interest of the method and the breadth of the exploration it opened up. I thought it would be a mistake, given my curiosity and the observed benefits in practice, not to experience it myself “from the inside.” I could better understand the lived experience and, in essence, share it more effectively. So, I eventually had “my session.”
I wasn’t disappointed. I might have the opportunity to tell you about it sometime.
Since then, I’ve had the chance to do it again. The experience was different but equally surprising. It’s rewarding to offer everyone a chance to go through something like this.
I'm interested, but I don't really want it to be known.
This is perfectly fine. The decision to have a session, the discussions we have, and what emerges from the experience are absolutely confidential. I pay close attention to this.
It concerns neither your close ones, nor mine, nor any other third parties, unless you decide otherwise. It is up to you to share or not share your experience. No one else attends your session. If, for example, a partner or friend has accompanied you, they will need to find an activity during your session. There are no exceptions; you must feel absolutely free to speak. Some topics, some questions can be very intimate. What emerges during the exploration phase, while always constructive, does not necessarily conform to a perfectly conventional moral framework.
It is possible – and it can be interesting – to consider, but only with your consent and anonymously if you prefer, openly sharing part or all of the recording of your experience on various platforms (e.g., YouTube or this website). This allows other people to get a concrete idea of what can emerge during a QHHT® session and sometimes benefit from information that may be of more general interest (for example, about the nature of our reality or various advice and remarks from the Subconscious). This way, you can contribute in an original and meaningful way for the benefit of all. However, I emphasize that, in this case, your prior consent is essential, and maintaining your anonymity is a priority.
Your comments and feedback are welcome. They provide another way to share your feelings about what you experienced during your session. If the experience seemed relevant to you, you are the best ambassadors for people who may not yet be familiar with this method and could benefit from it.
What does the term "Quantum" in the name QHHT® (Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique) refer to ?
This is just my perspective on the matter, but it seems necessary to share.
Of course, the term “quantum” immediately brings to mind quantum physics. It is essential to clarify that in the context of QHHT®, it is also used metaphorically for its fertile poetic value and what it can evoke. It refers to the idea of the fundamental nature of reality, enriched by the conceptual contributions and experimental findings of quantum physics. It expresses something about the depth and transformative nature of the experience lived in a session. It suggests that the method explores dimensions of consciousness that go beyond the limits of everyday life and apparent reality. It can convey the sometimes surprising and counterintuitive nature of the explored fields and the results obtained, of what emerges during the session, beyond a purely mechanistic framework of thought. It speaks to the holistic nature of the approach, beyond our everyday experience and what falls under the senses, with the idea that consciousness precedes matter.
QHHT® provides access to profoundly transformative information that is useful and beneficial for those who consult, and that is its explicitly stated objective.
“Quantum physics”, strictly understood within the context of experimental sciences, has its own goals and rigorously tested protocols to allow scientists to understand, study, and control individual microscopic objects. It aims to understand what happens on a very small scale, for example, at the scale of a single atom. Quantum physics is strange but not irrational. It is a very precise and sophisticated discipline with highly developed models that have revolutionized the understanding of the fundamental principles of physics. It has its specialists who have been deepening their knowledge for over 120 years. Some of them are also exciting popularizers, perfectly legitimate and reliable, especially since this subject has been at the heart of their research and publications for many years. To better understand “quantum physics” in the strict sense, they are undoubtedly the best conveyors.
This clarification aims to dispel ambiguities that would not serve QHHT® (which does not need, to provide all its benefits in its field, any considerations, claims, or assertions that might be incorrectly deemed pseudo-scientific) or the understanding of quantum physics in what we can possibly grasp of its own strength, finesse, and beauty.
