Sessions

In preparation for a session,

You are invited to prepare in advance, and you could do so now, a list of points you would like to address, questions you have at this stage of your life, your interests, or concerns of any kind. It is better to put this list in writing, as it helps to clarify and specify your questions and intentions.

On the day of the session, depending on the time, to help you relax, it is good to avoid consuming too much caffeine or theine. You may also want to avoid having a heavy meal just before, as the idea is not for you to fall asleep either. Opt for comfortable clothing, and you might feel more at ease without makeup (it is not uncommon for emotions to surface, and it’s not ideal for makeup).

The process of a QHHT® session is very simple:

Phase 1

We begin… by talking. We discuss your life, the events that seem significant to you. We explore what has shaped you into the person you are today. All topics are open for discussion. You can talk freely without fear of any moral or other judgment. This conversation is confidential, and no one else, not even a spouse, for example, would be present. The goal is to take the time to review what is important to you. The idea is to identify, as accurately and calmly as possible, what you truly want to explore. In fact, this part is more important than it may seem. We usually dedicate at least two hours to it.

Phase 2

Then comes a more advanced exploration phase. While lying down, you are guided into a state of deep relaxation, where interesting and useful information can emerge. The practitioner doesn’t deliver this information; it comes from what Dolores Cannon chose to call ‘the Subconscious’ (or ‘SC’).

The Subconscious is none other than yourself, but on a broader level, what we could designate as your Higher Consciousness—a vastly expansive Self that has an overview of everything you have experienced in this life and others. Your well-being is its priority. It has the knowledge of everything you need to understand or learn on the day of the session and knows what you are capable of integrating. You can undergo this process with confidence, as you will only have access to information you can digest.

This phase lasts about two hours. For the comfort of the person being consulted, we avoid unnecessarily prolonging it. It is the heart of the session. I record this part so that you can review and listen to everything that was said. It is highly recommended to listen to this recording afterward (at your own pace) to firmly anchor the benefits of the session; often, you will hear the session with a slightly different perspective each time.

Phase 3

Finally, we take a brief moment to allow you to return gently to a more standard state of awareness and reflect on what emerged during the session.

You’ve just read a description of the standard process of a QHHT® session, but the most interesting aspect is, of course, the content. What’s amusing is that we don’t know in advance what this content will be because it will be very personal to you.

The Quantum Healing Hypnosis Academy outlines the following key points:

QHHT sessions should never be done via Skype, phone or remotely. A proper QHHT session should only be done in person with a trained QHHT practitioner. QHHT is done in person only because of the energetic quality of the session as well as for safety concerns.

* Appropriate QHHT session length – Ask your potential practitioner how long their QHHT sessions typically last. QHHT sessions should be a minimum of four to five hours. This time includes an interview, the hypnosis experience and time afterwards to discuss your session. If a practitioner states a session lasts less than 4 – 5 hours know that isn’t a favorable situation.

*When QHHT is given properly it is meant to be a one time experience. If your potential practitioner suggests that additional sessions are needed or recommended please know this is not typically necessary.

* It is recommended by the QHHT Academy that practitioners not charge for sessions while they are in their training phase and gathering experience. Depending on how often new practitioners are doing practice sessions this training phase can last six months to one year.

*A QHHT experience is unlike a psychic reading experience where you are given the information by someone else. A pure and true QHHT experience is special because the practitioner is facilitating the client to access the client’s own knowledge and healing. This truly is the experience of – all answers lie within. If the practitioner is doing the healing or answering the clients questions for them, know this is not QHHT.

*A true and pure QHHT session does not combine other modalities before, during or after the QHHT session. QHHT on its own is a very powerful and transformative experience perfected by Dolores Cannon and her decades of hypnosis work. There is no need to add or combine modalities with it. Matter of fact, when other modalities are added the QHHT experience is watered down becoming less effective.

*A QHHT practitioner should always provide a recording of your session either electronically or on USB.

These are all helpful guidelines to assist you in choosing the practitioner who is the best fit for you.
